Local branches serve as drop-off stations for supplies and treats
WHAT: IBC Bank and H-E-B have initiated Operation Care Drop to support our nation’s troops. Forty-two IBC Bank branches in San Antonio are serving as drop-off stations for care package supplies from Nov. 11 through Sunday, Nov. 30. More than 130 branches across IBC’s branch network in Texas are participating in the donation drive.
The community can support Operation Care Drop by: 1) purchasing pre-made care packages at participating H-E-Bs or by purchasing travel-sized supplies and treats capable of fitting inside a quart-sized plastic bag and placing them in the “Drop Zone” at any IBC Bank branch; and 2) writing a letter of support or thanks to a soldier. Additional details can be obtained at a local IBC Bank branch.
To help pack and ship the goods overseas to servicemen and women, IBC and H-E-B are working with Operation Interdependence® (OI), the premier Civilian-to-Military Delivery System® in the U.S.
WHEN: Tuesday, Nov. 11 through Sunday, Nov. 30
